The Request
Action Mary, startup PR agency, brought me on as the Design Director. My first major task was to assess and redesign the website, then the agency's social media channels. I began by having conversations with the Partners to identify current strong suits, needs and desires of a new website.

The Process
We began with moodboards. Then, once agreed upon, we moved on to two different ideas for a homepage.
After the visual template was agreed upon, we built out the full wireframe and mockup.
After approval on the mockups, I developed animated prototypes, and found a freelance developer. We worked closely on building out the frontend of the site.
I worked with the digital manager to develop an announcement plan for the website.
Alongside the website development and announcement plan, I worked with a copywriter to develop new language to be used in conjunction with the new look+feel. This language was then implemented across the website, social media, throughout new business presentations, and in our branding guidelines.

The End Result
With the help of the Partners and the digital manager, we successfully launched the website with updated language and social media visual identity. The plan was executed with all employees posting on their personal pages, linking to a new blog post from the Managing Partner on why the brand is undergoing a change.

A new social media branding guideline document was created. New social media visual assets, as well as new language, are in effect across Action Mary platforms.

An Iterative Process

Social Media's New Look + Feel
Sizzle Reel
I was tasked with strategizing, designing and animating a sizzle reel for Action Mary. I chose to make the first reel from the client Aqua Star - we had the most creative, data and PR hits with Aqua Star. I also created these animations with the intention of using this as a template for future client reels. This was the third and furthest iteration I was able to complete.
Action Mary Logo Animation
As part of the sizzle reel I set out to create an animated logo to complete the video. After storyboarding, I worked with an illustrator to create the surrounding visual assets, then put everything into After Effects for the animation. This was the furthest iteration I was able to complete on the logo animation.
